Eddie Marsan (Mission Impossible) and Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey) star in this award-winning drama that we supplied the supporting artists to.
Am pleased to announce that Tribeca Film has acquired the North American rights for Uberto Pasolini’s sophomore feature Still Life from Beta Cinema. Written and directed by Pasolini, the film had its world premiere at the 2013 Venice Film Festival where it won four awards: the Orizzonti Award for Best Director; the Pasinetti Award for Best Film; the Cinema D’Arte e d’Essai award; and the Civitas Vitae prossima for Best Film.
The film focuses on the unassuming John May (Eddie Marsan) whose life has always revolved around his work—finding the next of kin of those who have died alone for the local council in South London. He believes that everyone deserves a dignified exit and writes eulogies and organizes funerals for those who wouldn’t have them otherwise. When a new case—the death of an elderly alcoholic in a flat directly opposite his own—hits him harder than usual, he journeys outside London to track down the man’s long-abandoned daughter (Emmy® Award nominee Joanne Froggatt). Against the odds, the two lonely souls are drawn to each other—and John starts to appreciate life’s possibilities.
Tribeca Film will release the film on VOD and digital platforms on January 13, 2015 and in select theaters on January 16, 2015
Do you remember Mike Bassett - England Manager? Whatever happened to him?
So we shot this last month with some of our German and English supporting artists in London.
Yes that's right Mike Bassett is back with his sidekick Bradley Walsh.
Played by Ricky Tomlinson (The Royle Family, Brookside), Mike Bassett entered every football fan's consciousness in 2001 as Martin Bashir documented his exploits as England manager.
His hilarious mixture of passion and ineptitude has made Bassett a byword for all that is right and wrong about English football. When nobody else could or would take the England manager job over a decade ago, Bassett somehow led them to the semi-finals of the World Cup where they were finally beaten by Brazil (but equalled their best performance since winning the '66 World Cup).
Since then however, Mike Bassett has fallen down the ladder to the lowest of the lower divisions...
I know some of you are going to want to be part of this one when we start filming the full feature starting soon.
This is the teaser trailer just released for the forthcoming and second instalment as we catch up with Mike Bassett - Interim Manager. More on this coming soon.

The Puppet Master from Director Heather Thompson.
This thriller from directors Heather Thompson & Sean Cronin, produced by Simon Collins can be described as a supernatural macabre thriller which blurs the lines between the shadow world and what is real.
Lead actress Zoe Solanki was joined by Sean Cronin who is also the DoP and one of the main protagonists, Cronin had many hats on with this production and for me is one of the most respected men in UK commercial and independent film, high budget or low budget he always gives you his all.
I tip my hat to you sir and all the cast and crew.
Was a pleasure to be a part of.

| On set at Wandsworth Ram Brewery |
In a building site being developed by Hartman Construction in the East End of London, two construction workers discover a 17th-century graveyard ordered sealed by Charles II and are bitten by zombies, setting off a zombie outbreak in the area.
Terry MacGuire and his younger brother Andy are planning a bank robbery so they can save their ex-gangster grandfather Ray's retirement home from being demolished by property developers, along with the assistance of their cousin Katy, hopeless Davey Tuppence, and "Mental" Mickey, an unstable war veteran who has a large supply of weapons. During the robbery, the group finds they've crashed an embezzlement deal between the bank manager and the head of Hartman Construction. Expecting to find a few hundred grand, they find themselves staring at 2.5 million in cash. The bank manager had thought they were from Hartman due to their costumes but realizes otherwise and presses an emergency button to the police. The gang take Emma and Clive hostage. Upon leaving the bank, however, the group finds that the police have been killed by a growing horde of zombies. They escape in a van.
Meanwhile, at the retirement home, the zombies attack the residence. Ray and residents Peggy, Daryl, Doreen and Eric take refuge in the kitchen; Ray also rescues a resident named Hamish and gets him inside.
Terry's group arrive at an abandoned site, where Mickey is bitten by a zombie. Emma pleads with Mickey and Davey to let her and Clive go, saying she does not care about their 'selfish' plans, and Katy tells her that they are not robbing the bank for themselves, but to save the retirement home. Mickey decides to leave and takes Emma and Clive with him and ties them up. After Mickey dies and turns into a zombie, he is promptly destroyed by Terry, who rescues Emma and Clive. Clive picks up Mickey's gun and threatens the group, but is promptly eaten by zombies, shooting Davey dead in the process. The rest of the group escape, on the way stopping to look for Emma's younger sister, whom Terry and Emma find as a zombie, but Emma decides not to kill her in case a cure is found.
Having heavily armed themselves at Mickey's gun cache, Terry, Andy, Katy and Emma arrive in a double-decker bus at the retirement home. There, they manage to break the zombie siege and rescue Ray and the other surviving residents. They all then go into the bus, but it breaks down on the way and the group are forced to abandon it. They eventually find a boat which Peggy steals, but it is still chained up. Ray decides to sacrifice himself to save the others, but he still manages to survive and joins the others on the boat as they make their final escape. On the river, the group wonder what will happen next; Ray tells them that they can take East London back for themselves.

STAR WARS VII and THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX.
Good morning Lynch Mob and welcome to a brand new week and some out of this world news.
After months of trying in 2013 to get on the new Star Wars film unfortunately we as an agency didn't get selected as the agency chosen to supply the supporting artists.
Undeterred and a tendency to never give up we went to plan b, used the force and negotiated with the production company a chance to be on set as a supporting artist for a few lucky few chosen in a competition we would run which we put to them which they agreed to.
When filming was interrupted due to Han 'Harrison Ford' Solo breaking his leg back in June i thought that was it and you would miss out but delighted to say that the original idea and competition is back on.
So for those that are with the agency, if not then you can apply and a few lucky few will be chosen, the details about the competition coming in the next newsletter.
Hope this is the competition you are looking for.

MIke Bassett - Interim Manager is giving you a chance to be part of the next chapter.
WHO IS MIKE BASSETT?
Mike Bassett is back! Ricky Tomlinson reprises his role as Mike Bassett in the sequel to Steve Barron's Mike Bassett: England Manager.
Played by Ricky Tomlinson (The Royle Family, Brookside, In the Flesh), Mike Bassett entered every football fan's consciousness in 2001 as Martin Bashir documented his exploits as England manager.
Since then however, Bassett has had a descent into the depths of international management, and is struggling with the Iranian ladies football team in Tehran.
Meanwhile the England set-up is being efficiently and successfully managed by his former number two from his Bundesliga third division days, Jorgen Mannstein (who has the team sailing through their World Cup qualifiers). In his usual style, Bassett offends almost all of Iran, and so is soon back looking for another job. It doesn't take long for him to get a call from his old friend Mannstein, leading to his being drafted back into the England fold to work under the brilliant German on his coaching staff.
Yet, 'unforeseen' circumstances occur, forcing Bassett into becoming England's Interim Manager for the rest of the World Cup, as he soon comes to realise just how questionable his prospects are.
We're offering you the chance to be a part of the next chapter in the Mike Bassett saga. Through simply buying the exciting rewards along the right of this page, you will help Mike Bassett: Interim Manager get closer to reality.
We have a variety of rewards for backers, from copies of the film, to posters, to clothing, to chances to join us on set or even appear in the film (as an extra, or as a featured speaking part!) This is top quality stuff for any discerning Mike Bassett fan, or football fan, or anyone really!
We'll be introducing new rewards throughout the campaign, and taking your feedback on what you'd like to see. Look out for one-off special items and opportunities, and make sure to get involved at any level to ensure you get to be a part of the behind the scenes backer-only content that will continue throughout the film all the way up to release. Watch this space.
